Description : 2,4-D Sodium Salt 38% EC is used mainly as a post-emergent herbicides for control of broad leaved weeds in cereals, sugarcane, tea, wheat, rice, pastures, barley, turf, non-crop areas, sorghum, oats etc.


Mode of Action : 2,4-D is a synthetic auxin, which is a class of plant hormones. It is absorbed through the leaves and is translocated to the meristems of the plant. Uncontrolled, unsustainable growth ensues, causing stem curl-over, leaf withering, and eventual plant death.. Ethyl Ester is more potent as compared to Amine Salt.
